Achilles Adelaide

Achilles Adelaide is a volunteer-led running and walking community creating inclusive opportunities for people with disability, with a primary focus on those who are blind or have low vision. By pairing athletes with trained guides, we ensure everyone can move safely, build confidence, and feel part of a supportive community. We meet every Saturday at 8:45am (9:00am start) at the Glenelg Rotunda, with sessions tailored to walking, running, or a mix of both. We also host a monthly guide training session and social coffee catch-up. On occasion (typically public holidays), we mix things up by attending local parkruns together. At Achilles Adelaide, it’s not about speed — it’s about connection, inclusion, and making sure no one is left behind 💛
